COUNTRY SWAMP BLUES/ROCK AT ITS FINEST - FINDING THE BAND AT THEIR PROLIFIC CREATIVE PEAK - THIS WAS THEIR FIFTH LP IN LESS THAN TWO YEARS AND IT FEATURES THE STUNNING 11 MINUTE+ VERSION OF 'I HEARD IT THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE'
AND THIS COPY IS IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION - IT'S HARDLY EVER BEEN PLAYED (the labels show no spindle traces and the vinyl surfaces are practically unmarked and shine like new) AND ON PLAYBACK (AT A LOUD VOLUME) THE AUDIO DELIVERY IS SENSATIONAL WITH NOTHING TO FAULT - FANTASTIC COPY AND VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED INDEED

THE RECORD IS HOUSED IN A MATT AND TEXTURED SINGLE SLEEVE "Printed and made by the Upton Printing Group" (a rare variant of this sleeve as the LP is more commonly found in a fully laminated cover)

Cosmo's Factory is the fifth album by American band Creedence Clearwater Revival, released in 1970.
The peak of a prolific streak, Cosmo's Factory was Creedence's fifth album in less than two years.
It was a major commercial success, reaching #1 on the Billboard Pop Albums chart, and spawning three top-5 singles; "Lookin' Out My Back Door" (US #2), "Travelin' Band" (US #2), and "Up Around the Bend" (US #4) were all big hits. More amazingly, it also reached #11 on what was then the Billboard Soul Albums chart, a crossover feat nearly unheard of for a white pop/rock band.
In 2003, the album was ranked number 265 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
The name of the album comes from the warehouse in Berkeley where the band rehearsed.
John Fogerty was so insistent on practising (nearly every day) that drummer Doug "Cosmo" Clifford began referring to the place as "the factory".

LABELS: The labels are clean, bright, fresh and unmarked with no evident spindle traces - this copy has seen little, if any play - NEAR MINT
VINYL Visual: Both surfaces retain their original deep, glossy sheen and are practically unmarked (some light hairlines only which have no audio consequence whatsoever) - NEAR MINT
VINYL Audio: Outstanding audio quality throughout, beautifully recorded with a deep, rich, warm and detailed sound and on playback at a loud volume (which is how I always listen to my LPs prior to listing) it sounds wonderful - clean,  crisp and sharp  - this copy has seen very, very little play and in my opinion will be pretty hard to beat. Critically graded a very strong NEAR MINT for audio this is a really exceptional copy and one very, very highly recommended indeed
SLEEVE: The rare variant fully textured cover is also in beautiful condition with little wear to speak of - the spine (which is 'pinched' at the top and bottom) is unworn and displays all text clear and bold and the edges are crisp and sharp and the textured surfaces show only light record impression - NEAR MINT
