CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL WLP DJ PROMO 45 ON SCORPIO
From 1967 comes this original white label promo pressing of the first 45 by Creedence Clearwater Revival (after several releases under the name "The Golliwogs"), "Porterville"/"Call It Pretending" (Scorpio 412). The a-side would end up on CCR's eponymous debut LP the following summer (after the group graced the Top 40 with "Susie Q" and "I Put A Spell On You"), but the dynamite b-side unjustifiably would remain in the ether until finally ending up on the group's 2001 box set.
This 45 is very good plus with excellent condition labels.
To protect your investment, this 45 - as with all vinyl purchased at The Great Escape Online - will be placed in a new plastic outer sleeve prior to packing and shipping.
