On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Cressida called 'Asylum' and is a 1971 Stereo UK 1st pressing!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE RARER LPS ON THE VERTIGO LABEL - AND RARELY EVER TURNS UP!!!! THIS IS THE 1971 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS VERTIGO SPIRAL LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD COVER!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT IT IS THE VERY EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'LARGE' SPIRAL LABEL!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MASSIVELY RARE LP!!!! This is an ORIGINAL Vertigo UK 1st pressing from 1971 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 6360 025 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Spiral' Vertigo Label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Cressida at their best!!!! Any fan of Cressida, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, 1 small surface mark, 3 or 4 light hairlines, 3 or 4 VERY light scufflines, and only a VERY of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with only a VERY few clicks/pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and NO crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Spiral' inner sleeve which is in STUNNING condition!!!! The 1st Press Gatefold Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has barely ANY edge wear AT ALL, NO spinal wear, only a VERY few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking), only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only VERY slight yellowing to the edges of the cover and NO writing!!!! There is also a record shop price sticker on the top right hand corner on the cover. I was tempted to remove it, but as this is an unlaminated cover I feel it will badly damage the cover if this is attempted - so I decided to leave it alone. The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, only very VERY minimal grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! This Cover must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY RARE AND IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA OPPORTUNITY!!!!
