DAVID CROSBY - GRAHAM NASH A Very Stoney Evening (TMOQ) RARE US 1st Pressing EX++
RARE original US first pressing of David Crosby and Graham Nash`s live album "A Very Stoney Evening" on TMOQ Records (February 1973). Original US release with transparent red, respectively transparent purple vinyl.
"Graham and David had a friendship that had gotten past the women, dope and money that had put (at least) a few rifts between Stephen and Neil's part of the big circus as the big-four could not continue to record music and play concerts together by this point in time due to huge clashes of ego that tore at them and ripped the "Woodstock Vibe" to pieces as the 1970's were getting into second gear. (...) 
This set from the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion in Los Angeles, Ca was from 10th October 1971. With just guitars and voices David and Graham faced the masses that were quickly charmed to the music that they could perform together. This set is famous for David having the flu and instead of cancelling the gig, David found some proper medication to get him through the evening and it put him into a happy-place that is documented on this recording." - From an Amazon review by Philip S. GRADING:
EX(+) COVER in very passable condition. Please see photos for details.
- Small water stain (at top left).
- Bumped corner at bottom left, as well as a seam split (approx. 5 inches long) that begins at the opening edge.
- Small writing on back cover (at bottom left): "Monday, May 28th 1973". Obviously the purchase date!

MINT- RECORDS that have barely been played. 
- Near-perfect vinyl on all sides, with impeccable audio reproduction throughout.
- No scratches, scuffs or any other visible signs of previous play at all!
- A few lightest hairlines from sleeve removal only.
- Original off-white TMOQ Records labels with a single, light spindle line on Side Four.
- A bit of residue from production process on Side One label, as shown.
- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "XCN -1", "XCN -2", "XCN -3", as well as "XCN -4".
- This record is certified to be a US first pressing of "A Very Stoney Evening", released in February 1973.
