BOB & BETTY W/ NOVELTY ACCOMPANIMENT--Crown 3251 Sing A Song Of Contract Part 1 //Sing A Song Of Contract Part 2--- CONDITION: MINT-
How do your describe a record that is so unusual, that this collector has NEVER seen or heard anything like it before? If you play Bridge, as popular today as it was many years ago (I've hear it has it roots in Whist, which I also don't know much about), you'll want this record. If you don't play Bridge and collect the Crown Label, your'll want it just because there's probably never been another record recorded like it, on any label. Bob & Betty (??) sing and banter, with the help of a jazzy novelty group, about bidding, trumping, doubling, redoubling, card values, and heaven knows what, all done in a VERY clever rhyming routine that takes up both sides. I thought I wouldn't listen to all of it when I came across it, just enough to describe it, but I became so involved in how cleverly these folks made all of this information in a semi-song (LOTS OF JOKES INCLUDED), vaudeville routine, and Contract Bridge information record! Honestly, you won't believe this one! Condition is as close to NEW as I've ever seen. It's interesting to hear how nice a Crown record could sound after it was just purchased. Win this one, and if you don't play Bridge, you will want to by the end of side two. Fantastic record! Any questions, or if you wish a sample (see below) please don't hesitate to ask.
As with all records purchased from me, they are cleaned with the VPI professional Record Washing System, so the sides are free of grit and dirt and they are CLEAN!

This is part of a huge collection that I am trying to get posted on EBAY. Since there are now others posted from me, I will happy to combine orders to save shipping costs, since it costs very little more to ship six records as it does to ship one! However, any record agreed to be held, must be paid for with 48 hours, or they will be put up for second chance offers. It is impossible to tie us all of the income from "held" records, for, what could be weeks, without payment. Unless otherwise noted, records are shipped in plain manilla sleeves and shipped in heavy cardboard boxes with double pieces of cardboard top and bottom and the middle (if the the shipment is large enough) and packed with popcorn and/or bubble material.
