DESCRIPTION : Rare mid-'70s jazz-funk album from little-known dutch group CRYPTO released on an obscure independent label!
Featuring members of PUMPKIN (another obscure dutch prog-jazz-rock fusion band. Peter Schon & drummer Nanning Van Der Hoop were in both bands). Crypto (and Pumpkin) are often referred to as the dutch PLACEBO (due to playing in a very similar style to MARC MOULIN'S legendary group) and for once for the comparison is completely correct.
This album is highly regarded and prized by serious collectors fond of solid beats, breaks, jazz-funk and pure dopeness...some tracks verge on funk, some are proggy, some are cosmic...ALL are very, very good with great keys, killer drums, psych guitar riffs and cosmic grooves galore!.
