PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
OFF-THE-CHARTS RARE original Herb Powers, Jr. mastered Electrosound Group Midwest, Inc. first pressing of this modern boogie funk/soul gem from right here in Chicago pressed privately on the tiny, highly collectable Cash Ear Records label in 1982 with the original "Rated PG" hype sticker in the top left hand corner on the front cover and original glossy printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics!!! LP is a beautiful near mint minus. Cover is still in the original shrink wrap(!) and gorgeous with barely a hint of wear on the tip of the bottom right hand corner. This is NOT the unofficial UK bootleg on Escrow. This is a 100% guaranteed original first pressing on Cash Ear. Cash Ear only managed to release two 45s and two LPs in their short lifespan, the other LP being the self titled Loveship album, which is also a hideously rare modern boogie funk killer massively sought-after by those in the know. If you've never heard either of these LPs go directly to Youtube and hear your new favorite albums. Don't sleep though. According to Popsike only of these has come up for sale since October of 2024 as the last one that sold in June was a bootleg on Escrow (and even that one sold for $128.00!). It will most likely be a lot longer than a year before another one surfaces and original pressings are near impossible to find in this state.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
