Culture Shock -- "Forever And Ever" b/w "Thought You Were A Friend" 7"
Original 1983 Canadian private pressing on PROC (CANADA) (catalog # JM-8352), in silkscreened Picture Sleeve.Great and rare early 80's KBD melodic pop-punk single from Vancouver Canada, and to the best of my knowledge uncomped. Sounds like a DIY Buzzcocks recorded with more of a low-budget raw production, with cool-sounding "slash guitar" and actually catchy songs with choruses that get in your head and stay there. This record has definite cross-genre appeal for fans of KBD punk, pop-punk, power pop, or recent indie-punk. The hand glued sleeves were silk-screened on blue construction paper. Recorded summer of 1982 and only ever released in this 1983 Limited edition of 300 copies.
CONDITION: Cover VG+ / Vinyl NM excellent shape, sleeve has a little ringwear, a couple dented corners (the scans exaggerate the wear); vinyl is extremely clean, no scratches or scuffs, plays great. Graded conservatively using Goldmine standards [G / G+ / VG / VG+ / NM / ]grade only used if record is brand new.
