Description
This is a fine original U.K. pressing copy of the third LP by British group the Cure, released in 1981. The record travels similar sonic ground as their previous LP, Seventeen Seconds, though tracks that were sparse and moody on the second LP are more dirge-like here. The record does include a couple of more energetic tracks (notably the single "Primary") as well as some slower tracks that are strikingly atmospheric ("Other Voices," "The Drowning Man"). For those into the minutiae: this copy has black text on the side 1 label and white text on the side 2 label, and the labels do not have the record's second catalog number (2383 605). The jacket has corner and seam wear, light ring, spine, and edge wear, and a small sticker stain on the front cover (EX). The disc has a little hairline scraping and light scuffing, and plays with a little light surface noise (EX+). The record comes with a custom inner sleeve (EX+).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
