I HAVE JUST PURCHASED A LARGE COLLECTION OF ORIGINAL LABEL 1950s AND EARLY 1960s ROCKABILLY, BLUES, AND R&B 45s, INCLUDING SOME HIGH END ITEMS - I'LL BE LISTING ITEMS FROM THIS COLLECTION OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS - PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE SAME COPY OF THE CURLEY JIM 'ROCK AND ROLL ITCH' 45 THAT I LISTED ON EBAY THIS PAST WEEK - THAT COPY HAS BEEN SOLD, THIS IS MY SECOND AND MY LAST CURRENTLY AVAILABLE ORIGINAL PRESS COPY OF THIS 45, IN SOMEWHAT LESSER CONDITION THAN THE COPY I SOLD LAST WEEK. This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL (NOT A REPRO) 1958 U.S. METRO RECORDS 45 RPM RECORD containing the rockabilly tunes titled 'Rock And Roll Itch' backed with 'Air Force Blues' from Miami FL rockabillies Curley Jim And the Billey Rocks. It is Metro Records U.S. catalog number 100, thick rigid vinyl pressing. Matrix numbers are hand etched, M-100-A mw on the A-side, M-100-B mw on the B-side. This record is in somewhat lesser condition than the copy I sold last week - Condition of record is VG with the main flaw being small clusters of pinpoint size surface scratches near the beginnings of both sides which can be felt and which will cause some light crackly surface noise for the first few revolutions on both sides. Record also has a couple of other surface scratches which can be felt and which may cause a few slight ticks, some surface marks which cannot be felt and which will not affect play, and a slight slow warp which has absolutely no effect on play. B-side label has a little almost invisible writing in blue ballpoint and some wear along the center hole, labels also have a little contact wear. I have priced this copy of 'Rock And Roll Itch' lower than last week's copy due to its VG condition - This 45 would be a choice rare addition to any rockabilly 45 record collection!
