Legendary boxset from Current 93, Sol Invictus & Nurse With Wound released in 1990 on UK small independent label Cerne (before World Serpent Distribution birth!) in a small limited edition of 2000 copies and not re-released until today (at least not totally). The so-called 'Cerne' box set includes:

• Current 93 "Horse" LP
• Sol Invictus "Lex Talionis" LP
• Nurse With Wound "Lumbs Sister" LP
•     + 3 inserts, one for each artist involved

The Current 93 album on the box features songs inspired by british folk group Comus... "Diana" and "The Death of the Corn" are among the best pieces performed ever from David Tibet & co. (co. are: Steven Stapleton, Tony Wakeford, Douglas P., Dik, Kawagachi Makoto, Ichihara Shinya, Uchida Ryuji, Takashima Satoru).
Created for a surreal film of Chris Wallis named also Lumbs Sister, the Nurse With Wound tracks are available exclusively only on this box and can't be found anywhere else: still out of print after 20 years! Incredible & powerful experimental electronics, one of the best releases of Nurse With Wound.
The Lex Talionis album from Sol Invictus (Sol Invictus here are Tony Wakeford: guitar, keyboards and vocals. Karl Blake: bass; Ian Reed: vocals), is their FIRST full-length studio album, and the most ‘experimental’ Sol Invictus album. Believe it or not, half of this Sol Invictus record turns almost industrial. "Lex Talionis" is a heavy wall of electronic distortion, "Black Easter" has got a haunting violin on top of a mass of noise and samples, just like "Abbatoirs Of Love" and "Kneel To The Cross".

Condition: The outer green metallicised box is in GOOD condition: it shows some wear, an old sticker mark on the front (top-right), surface marks on front and along the edges, edge scuffing (the corners are not bashed). The 3 LPs are in MINT condition, never been played; complete with all 3 inserts in VERY FINE condition.
