Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment.
Impulse original press STEREO laminated gatefold vinyl LP A-22 (Van Gelder stamped in dead-wax) - released 1962.
NM vinyl retains newish sheen and gloss - no play or handling marks. May have been played once or twice prior based on faint spindle trail on label side two. Play test on NAD C555 turntable revealed clear luminous stereo sound on a quality pressing. VG+ cover has light shelf / ring wear, thin 4" and 1 1/2" laminate separations top seam, stub lower right corner, firm spine hinge. Edge wear rear panel throat.
