The track "How Can I Tell Her" by Curtis (Anderson) is considered one of the greatest underground disco 12" records ever made. Originally released in 1979 on Charm City Records in Baltimore, MD, the song seamlessly blends elements of disco and funk. The drumbeats are crisp, the bass line is funky, and the guitar riffs add a catchy and anthemic quality to the 8 and a half minutes of the track. After 2 minutes, Curtis' vocals accompanied by handclaps and backing vocalists are introduced and sit perfectly on top of the joyful arrangement. It's an irresistible track that is sure to win you over, and one of the best private-label disco records of all time.
