On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Curved Air called "Air Conditioning" and is an ORIGINAL 1970 UK 1st Pressing!!!! THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE LP AND EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP EVEN MORE SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS ONE OF THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS PRESSED AS A PICTURE DISC!!!! IT IS ALSO IN STUNNING CONDITION AND IT IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND THIS LP AS A PICTURE DISC IN THIS CONDITION!!!! THIS IS THE 1970 UK PICTURE DISC 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING WITH 1ST PRESS WSX CAT NUMBERS (ON THE COVER & PICTURE DISC), 1ST PRESS A1/B1 MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS POLYTHENE INNER SLEEVE AND 1ST PRESS FULLY LAMINATED 1ST PRESS 'WEST BROTHERS' COVER!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY TOUGH TO FIND AS A UK PICTURE DISC 1ST PRESSING - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the original Warner Bros UK 1st pressing from 1970 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is WSX 3012 on the 1st Press Picture Disc (see picture) and a UK Stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Curved Air at their best!!!! Any fan of Curved Air, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
Th is picture disc of course has NO record labels - but the centre hole and surrounding area looks exactly 'as pressed'!!!! I DOUBT VERY MUCH IF THIS RECORD HAS BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!! Though PLEASE NOTE - that this is one of the earliest EVER Picture Discs and playing quality is NOT as good as a normal record. PLEASE ALSO NOTE - that I am NOT making excuses here - it is a simple inevitable fact that every one of this picture discs do play with some background crackle (exactly as pressed). But of course visually this picture disc is SUPERB!!!! The record plays with NO nasty loud pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, NO hiss and only some slight background crackle (as mentioned before)!!!! There is NO groovewear and NO distortion!!!! The record must grade FULL Excellent!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL polythene inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press FULLY Laminated Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, VERY shiny laminate, only VERY slight corner wear, only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking) and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the laminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO Grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! The cover must grade FULL Excellent if not better!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND, AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE AS A PICTURE DISC!!!! SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
