CURVED AIR Air Conditioning LP 1970 1st PICTURE DISC

On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Curved Air called "Air Conditioning" and is an ORIGINAL 1970 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Warner Brothers label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP EVEN MORE SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS ONE OF THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS EVER PRESSED - AS IT IS AN ULTRA RARE PICTURE DISC!!!!  WHAT MAKES THIS LP EVEN MORE INTERESTING IS THAT IT HAS WHAT LOOKS TO BE SOME KIND OF 'PROMO' 'PROOF' COVER!!!!  THIS LP WAS ORIGINALLY OWNED FROM NEW BY AN EX WARNER BROTHERS 'REP' FROM THE LATE 1960S & EARLY 1970S.  HE GOT THIS LP DIRECT FROM THE FACTORY BEFORE THE RELEASE DATE - AND KEPT THIS LP IN HIS COLLECTION EVER SINCE - UNTIL I ACCQUIRED IT LAST WEEK.  NOT ONLY THAT, BUT AS I JUST MENTIONED - IT HAS A KIND OF HAND-MADE 'PROOF' COVER (WITH THE CORRECT 'WSX CAT NUMBER!) - OF A TYPE I HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE!!!!  PERHAPS IT WAS SOME KIND OF 'PROOF' COVER IN THE DESIGN STAGE BEFORE RELEASE?  EITHER WAY I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS TYPE OF COVER BEFORE EVER, AND THIS LP (WITH THIS COVER) COULD EVEN BE UNIQUE!!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1970 UK PICTURE DISC 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING WITH 1ST PRESS WSX CAT NUMBERS (ON THE COVER & PICTURE DISC), 1ST PRESS A1/B1 MATRIX ENDINGS, AND ULTRA RARE 'PROOF' COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Warner Bros UK 1st pressing from 1970 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is WSX 3012 on the 1st Press Picture Disc (see picture) and a UK Stereo 1st pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Curved Air at their best!!!! Any fan of Curved Air, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

Th is picture disc of course has NO record labels - but the centre hole and surrounding area looks exactly 'as pressed'!!!! I DOUBT VERY MUCH IF THIS RECORD HAS BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  Under EXTREME light there are a few EXTREMELY unnoticeable 'pressing marks' - though as I just said - these are virtually IMPOSSIBLE to see and clearly from manufacture. THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  Though PLEASE NOTE - that this is one of the EARLIEST Picture Discs EVER made and playing quality is NOT as good as a normal record (EXACTLY as pressed!).  PLEASE ALSO NOTE - that I am NOT making excuses here - it is a simple inevitable fact  that EVERY SINGLE ONE of this picture discs do play with some background crackle/sound (exactly as pressed) and a few clicks/pops (again EXACTLY as pressed).  But of course visually this picture disc looks SUPERB!!!!  The record plays with only a few clicks/pops (EXACTLY as pressed), NO jumps, NO sticks, NO hiss and only some slight background crackle (as mentioned before, and again EXACTLY as pressed!)!!!! There is NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade FULL Excellent!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The ULTRA RARE 'Proof' Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, a few light creases to the laminated circles (NONE elsewhere), only VERY slight corner wear, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the back is in STUNNING condition with NO grubbyness, NO rubbing, and NO yellowing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE LIKE THIS SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
