Lost Sequence EP (remastered)

grey marbled vinyl 12" Cat: ECHOSPACE 017RERel: 29 Jun 26
Techno Side 1. Lost Sequence Side 2. Lost Sequence (Intrusion dub)
Several classic Detroit tumblers from cv313 - first activators of the riverside city's many small gatherings, lofts and studios, such as Motor and The Shelter, cloak-and-dagger locations where the city's later dub techno sound would ripen - are undergoing the Pole remaster treatment. Prime among these is the 'Lost Sequence' EP, which, alongside a whole cascade of Betke recombinations, plays back like a focused appreciation of an originally speedy, by-numbers run. The original and Intrusion versions are factors of each other, the latter running at half the speed of the former, both bringing subtle bongo and twanging analogue urge.
