Description
CX 1606 The Cellist’s Hour. A recital of arrangements for cello by Pierre Fournier accompanied by Gerald Moore. Pieces include Kreisler: La Gitana; Granados: La maja dolorosa, Granados: Intermezzo from Goyescas; Faure: Berceuse; Saint-Saens: the Swan from Carnival of the Animals; Rimsky Korsakov: Flight of the bumble bee; Hymn to the Sun from The Golden Cockerel; Chopin: Introduction and Polonaise Op 3; Mendelssohn: Song without words Op 109; Weber: Violin sonata No 3 – Rondo; Schumann: Abendlied; Haydn: Minuet; Bach JS: Recitatif from Organ concerto No 3.
Jacket: Slight wear to opening, with minor laminate lift. Stain at bottom opening (see photo). Otherwise in excellent condition.
LP: Mono only; blue/gold original. Side 1: A mark causes about 20 ticks towards the end of Band 1. Side 2: A pressing flaw causes some mostly quite unobtrusive sound for about 80 seconds in band 2. Otherwise looks near mint; I would say that I would have preferred less surface noise, so Ex+ for that.
Condition
A Near Mint LP means that there are no sounding marks; there may be one or two very light surface non-sounding marks, but the LP has had little if any discernible play, shows a high gloss, and has no repeated tics or sign of aural wear.

A Near Mint jacket will be whole and undamaged, with no significant discolouration.
