Description
This is an original U.S. pressing copy of the debut LP by Pittsburgh neo-garage punk group the Cynics, released in 1987. The group had listened to Nuggets, Pebbles, and many of the seemingly countless other comps and reissues that had become available, and they have the sound down pat. Most tracks are group originals, but they do cover songs by the Remains, the Litter, Northern Irish group the Wheels, and Aussie group the Sunsets (who for trivia buffs later morphed into psych/progressive/surf band Tamam Shud). The jacket's main flaw is some water damage and light staining in one corner (see photo). There is also some light ring, corner, spine, seam, and edge wear, and light staining along the top of the back cover slick -- overall VG(+). The disc is clean, and plays with minimal surface noise (M-). The record comes with an insert (VG+: some staining and light rippling).
I’m helping a friend sell his personal collection. I have play graded (spot checked) discs. The jackets will be shipped in plastic sleeves with the discs removed from them.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
