Description
Released by Caltone in 1967, cat # Tone-101; this is “Get On The Ball†by Roy Shirley with the Caltone Studio Orchestra c/w “Sound And Soul†by Johnny Moore with Tommy McCook and the Supersonics. The release date of the 22nd September 1967 is scrawled in red biro on the sleeve.
This week is a selection of the labels we have left to sell from our reggae collection. If you’ve not seen our auctions before, where have you been! Some immense singles this week in fantastic condition that defy their age. Remember, most are mint, some were unplayed until we got hold of them and all are one owner from new and have NEVER been offered for sale anywhere else – ever. You’ve dreamt about singles in this condition – now see them for real!
Both labels are unmarked with only a couple spindle marks on the A-side label. Both playing surfaces are unmarked and are visually in mint condition. The A-side has a tiny bit of surface noise at the start, but after one light clean and one play after nearly 40 years I don’t think this is too bad! The instrumental B-side was similarly afflicted. The record is graded as excellent.
Postage and packing for one record will be £1.10 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are £1.30 UK, £2.20 Europe and £3.20 USA and the Rest of the World.
Insurance is extra and will be required if the value of the record or overall consignment exceeds £28.
Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
