Description
Released on Caltone in 1967, cat # Tone 104; this is “Sir Pratt Special†by Don D Junior with Tommy McCook and the Supersonics c/w “Love Is Strange†by Hemsley Morris with Tommy McCook and the Supersonics. The original white paper sleeve has the release date of the 13/10/67 written on pen in the top corner.
As we are using up the available superlatives for this collection I’ll keep this brief – great records in the BEST condition you will find. You may equal them in time and a lot of searching, but you can’t better MINT or UNPLAYED. If you are new to our actions, please check out our “Me†page for the story on this amazing collection.
Both labels are clean with no spindle marks on either label. Both playing surfaces are unmarked and are visually in MINT condition. The instrumental A-side had a bit of persistent surface noise on first play that did reduce on further plays. The B-side (the better track to my ears) has a tiny amount of surface noise on first play. The record grades as excellent.
Postage and packing for one record will be £1.10 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are £1.30 UK, £2.20 Europe and £3.20 USA and the Rest of the World.
Insurance is extra and will be required if the value of the record or overall consignment exceeds £28.
Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
