Camille Beaulieu Give Them Time Lp, Private Press Connecticut Hippie Folk Rock Lp VG+ and cover with little flyer with info. Obscure unknown hippie folk Rock Lp, this is a total basement recording. It has light mellow drums, acoustic and electric guitar, some bass guitar on songs. It’s a solo songwriter project with a backing band. Totally low fi recording done live on probably one track. There some jangling guitar like a bit of Byrds influence. The guy is actually a good passionate singer. I have had this in my collection for years, got it in Michigan at a flea market. As a collector of private press, I can’t hype this up as a folk psych masterpiece, but it doesn’t suck, it’s a nice listen it’s mellow folk rock, there is a bit of power in these ballads, bit of the fire like Barry McGuire had on his first two albums, not lame soft rock. It’s an interesting artifact I’m cutting loose to make room in my collection. I always hope that when I put a record like this up for auction here it finds the person who knows exactly what this is and has been looking for it. Sometimes the records go back to their home town.
The song “Jump Bullfrog” is about as psychedelic as this Lp gets. It’s a ballad about a slimy bullfrog the singer strikes up a friendship with. That song is pretty bizarre. I DO COMBINE SHIP WAIT FOR INVOICE BEFORE PAYMENT.
Shipped with USPS Media Mail. Well packed and protected in a standard Lp mailer with extra cardboard for protection and poly bagged.
