Can Ege Bamyasi UA UK 1972 1st press near exc condition
United Artists Records UAS29414
The 1st UK pressings were pressed in Germany and were the same stamped matrices as the 1st German pressings 29414A2/C3A Made In Germany & 29414B1/C3A Made In Germany but on the labels they were blacked out on the Manufactured In England label copy on the outer rim & printed manufactured in Germany.
Sleeve: - very good – ring wear, light creases on black surface, some lift-off of lamination on spine sides front and back. Small hole in front, bottom right, biro mark (‘M5’) top left of back. Otherwise in sound condition. Poly lined inner. Label has previous owner’s name in biro, twice on each side.
Vinyl: near exc. – in appearance, has only very light, superficial scratches, plus occasional light smears. Plays well, although side 2 seems to have a bit more in the way of surface noise than side 1 (hence the 'near' before the 'exc'). Still, a good clear sound throughout.
