Artist/Band Bio:
Can was a German experimental rock band formed in Cologne in 1968. The band's original lineup consisted of Irmin Schmidt (keyboards, vocals), Holger Czukay (bass, electronics, vocals), Michael Karoli (guitar), and Jaki Liebezeit (drums). Can was known for their eclectic and innovative sound, which incorporated elements of rock, jazz, electronic music, and world music. The band was also known for their improvisational approach to music-making and their use of electronic instruments and synthesizers.
