Cover: Original, unlaminated textured envelope cover, printed and made by the E. J. Day Group, London and Bedford, with “Patent applied for” text. This first pressing has a top entrance for the records; later ones were made of smooth card and had a side entrance. Just the faintest hint of ring-wear on the front. The lug on the back has a light crease, but is otherwise intact, with no weakening or stresses, and the retaining recesses show just light wear. The top edge does show some wear and rubbing, but all text is clear and legible. There is light wear on the other three edges, but no seam splits. Despite it’s design and fragility, still in nice shape; grades somewhere around VG+ to EX-.

Inner Sleeve: Plain white paper inner sleeves with one or two age spots, but no seam splits.

Labels: Original United Artists labels with one or two of the very faintest of spindle trails.

Vinyl: A super first pressing, with both records playing near-mint; no skips, pops or distortion.

Additional Info: All of the vinyl that I am selling is from my personal collection, and has been cleaned on a VPI HW 16.5 Record Cleaning Machine. After cleaning, I keep my records in ‘Mobile Fidelity’ rice paper inner sleeves and store them with the records outside of the covers.
