Candi Staton, Stand By Your Man, Fame #ST 4202. Stereo. Issued 1971, original release, first edition. Includes : Stand By Your Man, as well as I'm Just A Prisoner, and, How Can I Put Out The Flame (When You Keep The Fire Burning). Original white color inner sleeve.
Grading Parameters: Mint / Near Mint / Excellent / Strong Very Good / Very Good / Good / Fair. Records are audio play spot tested, and cleaned and viewed under a strong light. Condition: ** This record LOOKS and PLAYS in Excellent or better Condition, few light 'paper' type surface lines/scratches, no deeper surface scratches, no finger-feel scratches, Beautiful bright shiny vinyl. Sounds fantastic througtout with just a secondary sparse sound here or there in exceptionally quiet portions (strong Very Good to Excellent), with the funk uptempo tracks sounding super strong full and fantastic, Excellent or better. * The cover is in Excellent Condition, no split seams, slight partial ring-wear on the front. The spine is beautiful with no niks or tears, the top and bottom edges are great too, no creases at the corners, No handwriting. No cut out marks nor drill holes. * The original white color inner sleeve is in Near MInt Condtion. * The labels are in Near Mint or better Condition, no spindle marks.
