Description
This auction is for what many consider to be the rarest of all of the Beach Boys
Singles. It is their First song and this particular record was released on Candix 331. I originally purchased this record at Wallach's Music City in Lakewood Ca.in December of 1961 and gave it to my brother as a Christmas Present. As it turned out he never became a Beach Boys fan and therefore never played the record. The flip side is a song called Luau. Many years later he gave it back to me and I added it to my collection. I played it a few times but it is in very very good condition and I still have the original plain white sleeve that it came in which is included in this auction. The sleeve shows wear around the edges (turning brown) simply because of its age of 46 years the record and its label however are in very good condition. The record will play quite well and has no scratches.
This is a true collectors item.
