Description
A monolithic doom metal masterpiece from the undisputed kings of epic heaviness.
Tales Of Creation captures Candlemass at their most theatrical and crushing — towering riffs, cathedral-sized atmosphere, mournful melodies, and that unmistakable sense of apocalyptic grandeur that made the band legends of the genre. This is doom metal done with absolute conviction and power.
This 2013 Peaceville reissue was pressed on heavyweight 180-gram vinyl and brings serious depth and warmth to one of the band’s darkest and most underrated records. The production feels huge on vinyl — thunderous low end, massive guitar presence, and enough atmosphere to swallow a room whole.
From the haunting opener to the colossal slow-burn riffs throughout, this is the kind of album that reminds you why Candlemass became the blueprint for generations of doom bands that followed.
A killer pressing of a classic era Candlemass record that doesn’t turn up every day in clean collector-grade shape.
