Description

This sounds AWESOME! Only listing this for this price because it’s definitely used (but sounds brand new besides some really badass sounding warmth/surface noise in the very quiet parts).
Yellow/reflective circles in the picture are lights shining above the album (was trying to get good picture and angle to see the grooves and surface)
I bought this used about 15+ years ago, kept it in the cover it arrived in (stored it well for that whole time), and just cleaned it off (microfiber+small amount of distilled water).
Listened to it and wow. One of the most underrated rap albums of all time, and one of the best underground rap albums of all time! Definitely one of the best things Def Jux (rip) ever released!
The mastering on this is very loud and full, basically zero sibilance distortion (super impressive) and has only minor surface noise on the more quiet parts (but this album has almost no quiet parts and has a big sound).
The vinyl itself plays amazingly, with zero pops, no skips, etc, but it LOOKS like it’s used. Like I said, some surface noise, but you can’t really hear it much, and what you can hear, makes it sound like a really cool and authentic hip-hop/rap record (that warmth is great!). I took detail pictures (you can examine the entire set of grooves on every side in the pics.
The vinyl is very thin, this is the first press from 2001, but it’s impressive as hell!
The cover has some light creases and minor smushed edges/corners as seen in the photo.
This is a very cool and impressive album to own with a lot of history. Will pack and shop incredibly well via media mail (I have a bunch of thicker cardboard shipping record packages), resleeve in a new cover, ship with the records and inner sleeves outside the cover (to prevent splits, damage to the record jacket).
