Cannonball Adderley - Somethin' Else Blue Note cat# BST 1595 ORIGINAL STEREO PRESSING with ear, RVG STEREO stamped, W 63 label, 61st St Jacket, DGx2 vinyl and cover are VG+ see description This is a very wonderful copy of Cannonball Adderley's Somethin' Else. Original issued in 1958 in mono, this stereo version first appeared in either 1959 or 1960. The first few Blue Note records issued in stereo kept the mono catalog #s and covers (with the addition of a gold foil stereo sticker.) As you can see, this has the catalog # BST 1595, later pressings add the "8" prefix to that number. The cover looks very good, it has a few spots of wear on the bottom and an unnecessary piece of tape to reinforce the spine. There is residue on the front top right where there once was a price sticker (this can be removed) and an area on the rear top that is whited out. The vinyl sounds great, there is a small scratch at the very beginning of side 1 that makes some ticks but it is gone by the time your first hear Miles, the rest plays very nicely. There is a name written at the top of both labels. The original inner sleeve is included. Overall, this is a winner! Please look at the photos!!!
