Description
This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Cannonball Adderley “Somethin’ Else” on the West 63rd St. labels of Blue Note BLP 1595 (no INC). The playing surface shows moderate superficial wear in the form of inaudible handling marks and hairlines; however, the record plays very close to new – clean and vibrant as would be expected from Blue Note - with no audible groove wear. The laminated cover has the West 63rd St. address in the original serif type face; ¾” split on the top seam, at the opening; 1” split on the bottom seam, at the opening; 1” wear on the bottom seam, near the spine; wear at corners; shelf wear and light foxing on the back slick.
