Description

Capitol stereo two track reel to reel tape, ZF-23, recorded at 7 1/2 ips.  For "stacked" or "in-line" heads.  Benjamin Britten, Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra, Ernst von Dohnanyi, Variations on a Nursery Tune, for piano and orchestra.  Felix Slatkin conducts the Concert Arts Symphony Orchestra, with Victor Aller, piano.  See pics for program details.

An audiophile favorite.  Might be the best sound of all the Capitol 2 tracks, and it is one of my favorite 2 track tapes of any label.  Terrific performances as well, especially the Dohnanyi, which is a delightful piece.

Tape in excellent condition, play tested, wound "tail out" (rewind before playing), box is VG++

Just to be clear, this is a two track tape, and it plays in one direction only.  There is no second "side".  It will play on a four track deck, although the channel balance will need to be adjusted.  Of course, it will perform at its best on a two track deck.

Two track tapes might be the highest resolution format ever issued, but please note that these tapes are old and they require careful handling.  This tape has been play-tested on a 2 track deck and run through to make sure that it is complete and that there are no breaks or splices, unless noted in the description.  Tape is wound tightly, with loose end taped to the reel for safe shipping.  Guaranteed to be as described.  I have a great deal of experience with these tapes, so bid with confidence.
