UK Capitol EMI First Edition 1960
Excellent Condition
Original, very rare, UK EMI 1960 issue on UK Capitol black/ gold 'rainbow' label. It features virtuoso performances of works by Kreisler, Massenet, Saint-Saens and others. The recording quality is excellent with outstanding presence and dynamics.
The disc is in excellent condition, clean without marks or scratches. It has been play tested on both sides on a Linn LP12/Ittok. It plays beautifully. There is only very occasional, extremely slight surface noise, consistent with a 60 year-old record. This should not affect one's enjoyment of the recording.
The sleeve is the original 1960 flip-back. There is some age-related yellowing on the back of the sleeve. It is otherwise in excellent, extremely clean condition with intact laminate and without creases or marks. Please see the photos below.
