Capitol SP 8534 Michael Rabin Paganini and Wienlawski Violin Concertos. Sir Eugene Goosens, Philharmonia Orchestra. 1960 stereo recording, late pressing.
Vinyl 9/10: spot auditioned, plays well with excellent violin sonics; quiet surfaces, with the exception of a very light 1/4” scratch at the beginning of Side 1 (Paganini) that is audible for about one minute of orchestral introduction; no visible spindle marks on label. Stampers Side 1 A55; Side 2 A36
Jacket 8/10: bright front and rear; light foxing front upper; light soiling and ringwear rear; visible wear on upper spine, though most of text and record number ate visible. Original gray paper sleeve, cut-out hole matches that on jacket.
