 THE "CAPTAIN BEEFHEART" ORIGINAL / "CLEAR SPOT" - WAS RELEASED IN A SPECIAL "PVC CLEAR COVER" WHICH INCLUDED NO INNER SLEEVE, SO THE VINYL WAS AUTOMATICALLY MARKED ALMOST EVERY TIME IT WAS TAKEN OUT OF THE SLEEVE!!! - OVER TIME THE PLASTIC CRACKED & SPLIT!!!!   LUCKILY THIS COPY BELONGED TO A "WARNER / REPRISE EXECUTIVE" AND WAS ONE OF THE VERY 1ST PRINTED & SEALED & PLACED INTO A SPECIAL POLYTHENE INNER BY THE EXEC & STORED IN A BASEMENT CELLAR WITH THOUSANDS OF OTHER SEALED / MINT LPS, UNTIL THEY WERE LISTED ON EBAY SOME 30 - 40 YEARS LATER!!!  THEY WERE ALMOST ALL NEVER PLAYED,  NOR HAD SEEN SUNLIGHT FOR MANY YEARS!!!  - THE COLLECTION INC THE 1ST VELVET UNDERGROUND LP (WITH UNPEELED BANANA) BEATLES "BUTCHER SLEEVE ALL SEALED  + 100s OF OTHER IMPORTANT VINYL OF THE TIME.. THESE WERE THEN SOLD ON AFTER THE OWNERS DEATH..  

I PERSONALLY BOUGHT *SEALED MINT COPIES OF "SAFE AS MILK w BUMPER" / "DECALS w STICKER" & "CLEAR SPOT (UNP) - THESE WERE THE 'FINEST" US PRESSINGS I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE - I PERSONALLY LOVE THIS LP & I WILL ADMIT I PLAYED IT ON MY "PIONEER" DECK ONCE ONLY TO ENJOY IT & RECORD IT FOR FUTURE USE WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT DAMAGING THE RECORD... IT SOUNDED "MAGNIFICENT" & FEATURES SOME OF ZOOT & ROCKETTE MORTON'S FINEST GUITAR-WORK WITH 'THE MAGIC BAND.'
