Description
White label promotional copy of one the great first albums of rock (or whatever category this is) Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band's "Safe As Milk". The album prominently features Ry Cooder, who joined the band for this one album before leaving after conflicts with Don Van Vliet (CB) during a live gig (Don passed out trying to sing "Electricity"). This deluxe issue is complete with the rare baby's head bumper sticker (John Lennon had several plastered on a chest in his London apartment at the time), and the two sided photo inner sleeve. The only wear is some very light factory haze on one track on one side of the LP, and the bumper sticker - still attached to the backing - has some fading and browning from age (photographed framed where it's been protected for decades, will be shipped unframed).
Very rare complete and in this condition.
Note the photos were taken in my camera's somewhat weak light and they are 'whiter' than they appear, not yellowed. Other than the bumper sticker there is no aging to the cover, insert or labels.
