Nice quality pressing of this classic lp.
The record is in very good condition condition. It is flat and very clean and shiny: indeed it looks for the most part like new. There are some very light marks on side 1 only visible under very bright light that make no difference to the sound which is excellent pretty much throughout. There are a few spindle marks indicating that the lp has been played but not very often. Unfortunately there is a spidery feelable mark on side 2 that does cause clicks between tracks 3 & 4. It isn't particularly intrusive once the music has started but it is clearly visible and audible in between the two tracks. One side of the lp has also sufferred in the past from "bag rash" (marks caused by the polythene liner of the inner sleeve). The lp has been professionally cleaned and the marks removed. Under intense light there is a very faint remnant of the marks but there is absolutely no detriment to the sound. You have to look very carefully to see this and I only mention it to be hypercritical There are, of course, no nasty pops, and absolutely no skips or jumps other than the light clicks mentioned earlier.
The labels are in excellent condition. They are completely free from writing, tears, marks and stickers.
The cover is in excellent condition which is rare for this filmsy sleeve. It is free from the creasing that so often mars this sleeve. There is some very light bumping to the corners, much less than is usual on this sleeve. Other than that it is superb. This is undoubtedly the best copy of this sleeve I have come across.
This is a copy that I am sure would satisfy all but the most exacting of collectors. The lp looks and sounds fantastic despite the feelable mark and the cover is the best I have ever seen. Happy bidding.
