Description
This is a genuine 1969 UK pressing of the famous Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band double LP with delightful gatefold sleeve. Collectors take note: this is the one that has the track "The Blimp" listed as "The Blimb" on the label (see blurry photo of label). Special bonus item included as well: a photocopy of the full lyrics to the album taken from a long-out-of-print Beefheart fanzine (photos included of some pages). The cover is a bit worn, particularly around the edges and spine, with some ring wear visible, and a small tear off the surface in the top right corner of back cover (see photos). The actual discs are very good , with very minimal crackle, and are unwarped and play nicely. Something really special for the discerning fan of the Captain.
