Description
Selling last of my personal record collection that i’ve collected over the last 55 years. They are down to one shelf in a cupboard now. No more to be added. It’s been a lifetime experience but when they are gone i’m finished.

This is a UK 1970 Buddah repackage of Captain Beefheart And His Magic Band's 1967 debut album "Safe As Milk", retitled as Dropout Boogie.
The original 1967 album contained 12 tracks.
In 1969 it was reissued on the Marble Arch label with 10 tracks, it omitted "I'm Glad" & "Grown So Ugly".
This 1970 issue was intended to be a reissue of the 12 track 1967 original, but a few early copies were mispressed with 10 tracks (as per the Marble Arch issue). It was quickly repressed with the original 12 tracks. Both the mispressed and corrected versions come in the same sleeve listing 12 tracks.
The copy for auction here is the 1970 mispressed 10 track version on the “99" budget series with silver/black Buddah labels.
Comes in a fully laminated cover.
Original UK patented inner sleeve.
The catalogue number is 2349002 with A1/B1 matrix.
The disc is EX, really nice looking disc.
The cover is a very strong VG+, The cover is in nice condition, very light agewear. And imprint of original 19/10 (old money) price sticker top right on front.
