Description
Capt. Goodvibes Mutants Of Modern Disco LP
Sticky Label
Rare '70s original in grey vinyl by the Pig of Steel, with a little help from his creator Tony Edwards!
Edwards, who's now a respected artist, told me that this was voted the worst record of all time by the Australian Music Press. Nice one!
Has infamous collectable status with fabulous iconic artwork by Edwards, who made Captain Goodvibes a household name through Tracks magazine.
Condition
The cover is in very good condition. The vinyl also is VG also with only minuscule minor scratches and scuffs. Plays through without problem.
Comment
Rare collectable piece of Aussie surf culture.
THIS IS AN ORIGINAL COPY OF CAPTAIN GOODVIBES
Mutants Of Modern Disco
AUSSIE ONLY EP FROM 1978.
Captain Goodvibes, AKA the Pig of Steel, was the creation of Australian cartoonist Tony Edwards and became an icon of Australian surfing culture in the 1970s. Goodvibes started life as a pork chop, accidentally mutated by a chance nuclear plant explosion.”
