Description

Original UK first pressing of Caravan - In The Land Of Grey And Pink released in 1971 on Deram Records (SDL R1). Vinyl is graded EX with excellent gloss and only light surface marks visible under strong light. The record is housed in the original gatefold picture sleeve graded VG+ showing light storage and edge wear but still bright with strong artwork. Labels show the classic red Deram design and the matrices read D1 and D1 indicating a first pressing. Considered one of the defining Canterbury scene progressive rock albums, the record features long-form compositions and jazz influenced progressive arrangements from the band including Pye Hastings, Richard Sinclair, Dave Sinclair and Richard Coughlan. A highly regarded progressive rock title and a sought-after early UK pressing for collectors.
