Third album by Caravan
Stunning album cover with glass like front/reverse face, never seen or felt better and gives a buzz when held. Such a smooth fingered touch to these magnificent outer faces. Beautiful near mint minus condition . Opening gatefold with excellent inner faces with no damage on surfaces . Some age discoloration towards upper edge and a tiny split on inner spinal column which is only superficial and not deep. No feathering to opening edge. Outer spinal feature is very near perfect with no laminate splits, square and solid clearly showing the title.
Vinyl
Thick, chunky first press with no visible surface marks under ordinary light. Polished, mirror like surfaces similar to mint vinyl . A vision spectacular .
Labels
Red Deram first issue label format with only a light spindle trace. Near mint condition as there is no mottling or peeling. No rips or tears. Pristine white coloration so rare to locate on these vintage pressings . Unfaded and quite remarkable for a vintage first issue , early Deram label. A rare find indeed .
Audio
EX+++ ! ! ! A sensational aural delivery and the best you are ever likely to hear. The variation in the tones from the different instrumentation is quite breath taking. The piano, flute, mellotron, bell, tenor sax and cannon are just a few of the wide range of instruments played on this monumental rock classic . Tones are delivered through the clearest of channels with very little to fault. The stereo perspective from this vinyl creates an incredible layered effect and an extensive range of dynamic sound. Unbelievable aural delivery .
A stunning example of a HUGE rock classic of the seventies, not to be missed .
