Description
Caridad Cuervo was a child prodigy as a dancer and singer in the Tropicana night club and was to be a
protégé of Celia Cruz with whom she worked with. Cari's brother Armando was a member of Irakere for several years. This LP is a collection of her singles recorded with Silvio Contreras, Severino Ramos and Yoyo Casteleiro conjuntos
Record is in very good plus condition, my uncle bought this LP during his last visit to Cuba in 1960. I inherited it and played it 1 time to record and then I put it away, it's been stored in my collection for over 25 years. This is the last of the Cuban press Panart Records shortly before its nationalization. This was manufactured by the quality Cuban Plastics and Record Company, Deep groove label.In its original made in Cuba paper sleeve
Vinyl: VG plus, most minimal spindle wear front cover has some light spotting on the left side, and minimal rub wear see photo. Top edge is intact with most minimal wear, side edge also has minimal wear with title and label printing intact. bottom edge has some wear and very slight seam separation towards center Back cover is in excellent condition, with most minimal rub wear.
