Scarce and Still Sealed...

Carl Orff Carmina Burana Original Telarc vinyl issue from 1981. Telarc Digital Stereo DG 10056/57. Imported German Pressing.

Stunning 2-LP Gatefold w/ Judith Blegen, Hakan Hagegard, William Brown, Robert Shaw, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra And Chorus.
Also Includes Paul Hindemith's Symphonic Metamorphosis.

Sticker on front sez: "This hour long sonic spectacular is pressed and reproduced on three LP sides for the first time, thereby offering the following advatnages: Wider groove spacing eliminates groove echo, no limiting or compressing thus providing the widest possible dynamic range. No equalization, resulting in wide natural frequency response".

Said to be one of Telarcs finest recordings ever. Highly sought after by many audiophiles. Sealed copies of this title have been known to fetch inbetween $150-$200.

Telarc sealed these in factory perforated polyethylene sleeves, not shrink wrap. These is a slight tear in the sleeve in upper right hand corner of cover, else fine. Jacket corners show very little wear, else NM. Vinyl/contents presumed MINT.
