Description
COLUMBIA original blue / turquoise & silver stereo recording of highlights from "Die Kluge" (the story of the king and the wise woman, based on a Grimm fairy tale) by Carl Orff played by The Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Wolfgang Sawallisch, with Hermann Prey, Elizabeth Schwarzkopf etc.
The recording dates from 1962 (I think).
This record is part of my personal collection. The cover is in excellent condition, very little shelf wear etc. There The condition of the record itself very good with just the odd surface mark visible under strong light (which might sound occasionally). Hence the realistic starting price for this now rare stereo record. The booklet and original inner sleeve are included.
I have been collecting classical records for many years and have decided to sell most of them - I now listen primarily to CDs. There are some really rare items coming up over the next few months. I am not a record dealer.
