Description
HL-U 8271 (No original centre, but had it still had it's centre, it would have been a Tri).
Written by Carl, this was the original recording that gave Elvis such a massive hit.
Please note. I do not give my records an overall grade. I try to be as descriptive as possible about the record, and leave potential buyer's to make up their own mind. The vast majority of records i am selling have a sound quality of Excellent or better. So, if you prefer to look at your records rather than play them then none of my items are for you. If, however, you are more interested in sound quality than what a record looks like then it's worth reading on.
This particular record still retains a sheen, but viewing it under a 60W light bulb the 'A' side has numerous light scratches. The 'B' side looks worse with more scratches, and a few large scuffs as well.
As far as sound quality is concerned this plays through fine. However, there is 'crackling' on 1st minute of song, nothing malicious though.
Please note though, i have only play graded the 'A' side.
'A' side label is fine with no rips, tears or writing on & all text is easily readable. 'B' side label has a small line drawn in green underneath the word 'Made' in 'Made in England', that aside, it's fine.
Overall, I still regard this as a decent record. Certainly better than a 'filler'. This is fast becoming an increasingly rare record, and to own a copy in any condition, should be acceptable to most collector's of 'London label' records. A lot of Dealer's would put a massive starting price for a copy of this record in the condition it's in. My starting price is 99p. so it has to be worth a bid or two.

This record will be sent with it’s relevant company sleeve. The sleeve may be good, it may be not so good. Pot Luck's the name of the game as far as company sleeves are concerned
I have now had to put a postage charge of £1.70 for my records. This charge stays the same whether you were to buy 1, 2 or 3 of my records. It is 1st Cass (Signed for) and it covers me against possible buyer's who claim items have not been received when, in fact, they have. To offset this cost i have now lowered my starting price from £1.99 to £0.99p. I am not a Dealer so I am not out to make a fortune, just to give still decent records decent new homes where they will be appreciated.
