Description
Carl autographed this for me in the 1st floor bar in the Artichoke.The pub
was opposite the Colston Hall Bristol ,where he had just played on May 28th 1964.
The pub was demolished in 1970
It plays well but from new this record has the background hiss that seemed to be on quite a few Sun
singles from this era. Maybe the material at this time was of a poorer quality
Lots of history here and one owner!
.I remember in July 1956 going with a friend to buy the London 78 RPM Copy of this in Allen's in
the Arcade
As it was played on a wind up Gramophone from the 1930's .The heavy steel needle and sound box soon wore it out!
