Description
Carl Perkins "Dance Album" on Sun 1225 from 1957. The record is in glossy solid VG++ condition and the labels are clean as seen. The cover is as seen with no seam splits, tags, creases etc. There is some tape at the top seam and the spline as seen. There is some spotty seam wear and a small area on the back cover opening that's missing a bit of paper as seen. There is a spot on the song "Tennessee" where there is a lite hiss sound (6 spins) and then is gone. This is a Sun Records pressing anomaly. Every copy I have ever had has had the exact same condition. Otherwise the playback is fine with a just a few lite tics here and there. This LP was play graded on a high end machine and the cartridge picked up everything. There is very lite background here and there which is inherent with these Sun recordings. Also included is an original copy of "Blue Suede Shoes" sheet music in great condition as seen with no tears etc. and a copy of "Blue Suede Shoes" on Sun 234 (VG+ w/ clean labels) from 1956. Great set!
