Description

Yellow label with dark blue, text, deep groove. Leader, Perkins, piano is accompanied by Leroy Vinnegar, bass; Lawrence Marable, drums. ll tracks. This is a showcase for Perkins' brilliant jazz talent. Very rare.

Cover: Fair to VG Top and bottom edges have completely split. The edges are held together by small pieces of aging scotch tape. There is some edge and corner wear. Crease on 1 corner.

Record: VG+ or Better Visually shows now wear. There are a very small number of light brush-like rub marks. These are small and barely visible. There are 1 or 2 small rub marks which may be in the vinyl itself and not surface rub marks. Overall, very clean in appearance with a fine, gloss-like appearance to the vinyl. There are some clicks, crackles and pops, mainly on the first 2 tracks on both sides. The noise varies from barely audible to clearly audible. The noise is not continious and some of the noise may be due to the irregular quality of the DOOTO pressing. It is difficult to rate as the record appears very clean but with noise as described. Audibly checked.
