Hallo,
Sie haben hier die Möglichkeit, eine rare SUN Records EP von Carl Perkins zu ersteigern!
Es handelt sich um die legendäre EP 115 auf dem SUN Label aus Memphis, Tennessee. Von allen SUN EP´s ist dies bei weitem die rarste!
Ich versteigere hier "nur" die Platte, es ist KEIN COVER vorhanden. Die Platte selber ist in tollem Zustand und spielt ohne Springen oder Hänger durch, die Musik ist laut und klar. Einige Kratzerchen gibt es natürlich, aber keine davon sind fühlbar. In leisen Passagen kann man Fremdgeräusche hören, die aber zu keiner Zeit die Musik übertönen! Die Labels weisen leichte Abnutzungserscheinungen auf, eine Seite hat die Initialiebn des Vorbesitzers. Alles in allem bewegt sich der Zustand der Platte im Bereich VG / VG+!
Es handelt sich hier um eine Original EP aus dem Jahre 1957. Anhand der Markierung im Dead Wax ( siehe Fotos ) kann man erkennen, dass es sich um eine sogenannte West Coast Pressung handelt, die aus dem Presswerk des Herstellers Monarch aus Los Angeles stammt. Das Delta und die Nummern 15505/15506 zeigen, dass diese Platte im April / Mai 1957 gepresst wurde.
Versand erfolgt im Plattenkarton entweder zu 1,45 EUR ( unversicherter Versand ) oder auf Wunsch auch als Einschreiben ( meine Empfehlung ). Ein Einwurfeinschreiben liegt dann bei 3,60 EUR. Paketversand ist auf Wunsch natürlich auch möglich!

here´s your chance to get your hands on a Carl Perkins SUN EP which is tough to find and quite rare!
This one is the legendary SUN EP 115, the rarest one out of all ever published SUN EP´s!
I´m "only" offering the vinyl, there´s no picture sleeve included! The vinyl itself is in very nice condition and plays without any skips or jumps, the sound is strong and clear. Of course there are some scratches but nothing really deep or feelable. Some background noise can be heard in quiet passages but it´s definitely not overwhelming the music. Still a very enjoyable copy of this rare EP! The labels are in nice condition, please see the pics. One side has the initials of the first owner written on it.
Altogether this one is a VG / VG+ copy and very enjoyable!
This copy is definitely an original copy. You can see it in the dead wax which shows a delta followed by the numbers 15505/15506 indicating that this pressing was done at the Monarch pressing plant in April or May of 1957 ( West Coast pressing from Los Angeles ).
Shipping will be in a sturdy record mailer for 1,45 EUR within Germany or as a registered shipment for 3,60 EUR. It´s possible to send the record as a insured shipment, too.
