You are bidding on an original, autographed example of the Carl Perkins Dance Album #1225. This record is rare, by itself. A must have for the Sun Record completist. The personalized signature reads "To Paul, thanks, Carl Perkins" . The signature is in blue ink.
The vinyl is a Delta pressing (Monarch) with the triangle in the dead wax. Heavy Wax. A solid VG with some surface noise.
The jacket was taped many years ago at the top, and the yellowed tape has now given way to a seam split. Bottom part has a 4" split. Top is split 3/4 of the way across, then is held together with old tape. Side is split about 4" inches directly in the center, but the edges are intact.
There is some soiling, discoloring, toning and loss of paper. Let's face it, this is an old, original album.
The front part with the graphics is still quite vibrant and beautiful. This would frame/display well.
